SHKP Supernova Cycling Team

Sun Hung Kai Properties officially sponsored the SHKP Supernova Cycling Team in September 2019, a commitment to further promote cycling among local youths, following its sponsorship for the establishment of the SHKP Cycling Academy. Its aim is to provide systematic cycling training for underprivileged young people with a cycling passion and nurturing young talent who aspire to join the Hong Kong Cycling Team.

Formed in 2016, the SHKP Supernova Cycling Team is led by a number of retired Hong Kong Cycling Team members. Over 200 teenagers have received professional training from the Team. Among 60 team members, seven of them are selected being members of the Hong Kong Cycling Team and participated in international events representing Hong Kong. Five of the team members are selected being the young cycling team while one of the member is selected being a member of a Australian cycling academy and received training overseas.
