Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon 2019 is returning on 13 October!



Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board with Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) as the title and charity sponsor, Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon will take place on 13 October (Sunday). Continue to feature important landmarks and roads, 50km ride will again be a challenge of the “three tunnels” (Cheung Tsing Tunnel, Nam Wan Tunnel and Eagle’s Nest Tunnel) and the “three bridges” (Tsing Ma Bridge, Ting Kau Bridge and Stonecutters Bridge), while 30km ride will get to cycle on Stonecutters Bridge.

In addition to the races that are suitable for experienced cyclists, “Family Fun Ride” and a new public cycling activity “Fancy Dress Bike Party” will also be held in the event, allowing leisure riders to indulge themselves in cycling fever. Participants joining latter activity can even dress in creative costumes to enjoy a carnival-like cycling experience.

Another highlight of the 2019 event is Hammer Hong Kong, the finale of the Hammer Series. Presented by SHKP, the race will see 11 UCI WorldTour Teams and other professional teams compete for the championship. Public and visitors can cheer for the riders along the route and enjoy the exciting races together. Please click here for more details of the event.

Putting the spirit of Exercising for Good into practice, a portion of the proceeds from the Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon along with SHKP’s top-up donations will go to The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong to support the third phase of the SHKP Science & Innovation Project for the Gifted, and to The Community Chest of Hong Kong, Changing Young Lives Foundation and Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council to support underprivileged children and youth services.
