SHKP sponsored a youth cycling team SHKP Supernova to nurture young cyclist stars

SHKP sponsored SHKP Supernova in September 2019, a youth cycling team lead by a few retired Hong Kong Cycling Team members to further promote youth cycling in Hong Kong. This is a further commitment of the Group to provide systematic cycling training for underprivileged young people and nurture young cyclists, on top of sponsoring and facilitating the establishment of SHKP Cycling Academy in 2018.

SHKP Supernova competed in its first road race, 2019 Heung Yuen Wai Local Road Cycling Race organised by The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China on 22th September after the renaming.

20 team members participated in the race and three of them achieved an encouraging result – Chan Nok Wang won the championship in Man Youth 11-13 category, Ng Long Kwan won 1st runner-up in Women Youth 11-16 category and Yung Tsun Ho won 2nd runner-up in Challenge category.
